Job Title: Senior designer (Storyboarding for Animation)

Client Location: London (Remote)

Pay Comments: Up to £62.18 per hour

Hours: Full-time

Duration: 4 months with potential to extend

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer, who has a proven portfolio of high-quality work that shows their thinking as well as great execution.

We are looking for someone who is adept at storyboarding for animation and film. This will be a large part of their role. Storyboarding and asset creation only – not the animationExperience/Qualifications:

  • You’ll be part of the In-House Agency— a full- service, in-house team that provides creative services to the EMEA region as well as producing global campaigns.
  • We’re a team of writers, designers, editors and animators who transform business using the power of creativity.
  • We are looking for a Conceptual Graphic Designer to join our creative team to work on a variety of design for digital, brand, video, print and online communications projects.
  • You will be responsible for the development of ideas from initial concept to final completion, working with the design and account management teams to ensure the smooth delivery of all projects.
  • You will work alongside other members of the creative team providing design-based concepts for a broad range of projects for our internal client base.
  • The right person would need to demonstrate industry knowledge and the ability to keep up to date with all emerging technologies and design techniques.

  • Resident in the EMEA headquarters in London the in-house studio is a full-service creative and production facility. Its aim is to offer internal partners (clients) bespoke, on-brand design and communication solutions that compete in the global marketplace.
  • As an integrated part of the business, we offer a deep understanding of the company structure, its philosophy and insight into the overarching strategy.
  • We are part of the Marketing and Content team, who are responsible for communications for clients as well as telling stories internally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a conceptual designer who is able to take a creative brief and create compelling solutions – using design to communicate an idea and tell a story.
  • You’ll be responsible for designing visual concepts to a high standard – which you’ll also follow through to final artwork.
  • A bright and clear communicator, you’ll take ownership of your own projects whilst taking creative direction from our Creative Director and also interacting with the clients to share your expertise in design.
  • You may also partner with one of our writers to develop everything from campaign concepts to film treatments.
  • You’ll be working within brand guidelines, but will know how to push and develop work that brings differentiation to each brief and continues to engage and inspire our audience – this could include challenging client’s perceptions and showing them what great design can do.
  • You’ll be happy working in an in-house environment and will relish collaborating with other members of the team to produce well- crafted work that’s on brand, on strategy and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To maintain the high standards of creative output within the applicable corporate identity.
  • Ensuring that all completed work is thorough, accurate and meets deadlines.
  • Day-to-day creative decision-making is part of the role (significant design changes or issues should be escalated to the Creative Director or Studio Head)
  • The timely communication of specification and scheduling changes back to the Traffic Manager

Skills:

Essential

Fully skilled in:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Inc. InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat & Photoshop.
  • Adobe CS Dreamweaver / HTML would be ideal
  • Able to present their ideas to others in the team

Preferable

  • Knowledge of Adobe Workfront would be useful
  • After Effects is a nice to have, but not essential
  • An understanding of AI and how it can help the creative process would be useful

We are looking for someone who is adept at storyboarding for animation and film.

This will be a large part of their role.
