We are expanding rapidly and seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Manager to lead our wholesale operations and scale this critical revenue channel with excellence.

Position Summary

The Wholesale Manager will own all aspects of our wholesale and B2B operations—including retailer onboarding, EDI integration, merchandising planning, order fulfillment, compliance, and account relationship management—while working cross-functionally to drive growth, operational efficiency, and retailer satisfaction.

This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and brings both strategic thinking and flawless execution to the table. The ideal candidate must have proven ability to grow wholesale revenue in the beauty space (or closely adjacent consumer categories with a similar demographic), as well as hands-on experience with beauty supply store distribution.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount, Fulfillment & Relationship Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle for all wholesale and B2B accounts, ensuring accurate order entry, timely fulfillment, and compliance with each client’s routing guides and logistical requirements.
  • Partner with warehouse leadership and 3PL partners to ensure operational efficiency, on-time delivery (OTIF), and order accuracy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with wholesale accounts, distributors, and retail partners to strengthen partnerships and drive repeat business.
  • Negotiate vendor agreements, pricing terms, promotional opportunities, and service levels with wholesale accounts and 3PL partners to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including fill rate, chargebacks, compliance fees, and reorder frequency.

Wholesale Strategy, Merchandising & Planning

  • Lead merchandising initiatives by attending trade shows and industry events, designing and executing targeted assortment strategies that align with seasonal brand priorities and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Manage and maintain seasonal merchandising schedules, store setup templates, and assortment sheets to support new retailer launches and product rollouts.
  • Administer and optimize the brand’s B2B sales platform, ensuring data accuracy, pricing integrity, and easy access for retailers.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop and distribute high-quality seasonal catalogs and line sheets that reflect the brand’s voice and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with demand planning and supply chain teams to align inventory availability with forecasted wholesale demand.

Compliance, Chargebacks & Retailer Systems

  • Ensure full compliance with retailer requirements across EDI systems, portal submissions, case packs, and labeling standards.
  • Proactively review, manage, and dispute chargebacks and compliance deductions, recovering funds and minimizing retailer fees.
  • Own retailer documentation, including updated line sheets, case pack data, routing guides, shipping terms, and portal credentials.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the wholesale liaison between operations, customer service, finance, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on priorities, stock flow, and client satisfaction.
  • Coordinate closely with the product and creative teams to align merchandising and marketing strategies for sell-in presentations, launches, and co-branded campaigns.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and sales tracking for the wholesale channel, with regular reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing wholesale operations, B2B fulfillment, or sales support within a CPG, beauty, or personal care brand.
  • Proven track record of growing wholesale revenue in the beauty industry or adjacent categories with similar consumer demographics.
  • Direct experience working with beauty supply store distribution and retail partners.
  • Proven ability to lead and optimize EDI, B2B platform administration, and order flow processes across multiple retailer systems.
  • Experience creating merchandising plans, store setups, and retailer presentations that drive sales and engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in vendor negotiations, account management, and retailer relationship building.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with key wholesale systems such as Amazon Vendor Central, SPS Commerce, and warehouse/ERP integrations.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
