Canvas Group is an award-winning creative agency specialising in brand, design and digital experiences for some of Australia’s most iconic and ambitious brands.
We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our team on a 6-month maternity leave cover, commencing ASAP. This role will step into a senior-level portfolio, so it’s ideal for an experienced Account Manager who is confident in managing complex projects and client relationships in a fast-paced agency environment.
You’ll be an effective problem solver, a strong communicator, and a natural collaborator who enjoys working closely with clients, creatives and delivery teams.
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and nurturing client relationships across ongoing and project-based work
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers and internal teams
- Collaborating closely with designers, developers and creatives to deliver projects smoothly, on time and on budget
- Managing website and digital projects from client brief through design, development and launch
- Planning and maintaining project timelines, resourcing and delivery schedules
- Keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned throughout each project
- Identifying risks and issues early and proactively working towards solutions
- Managing monthly forecasting, revenue tracking and project budgets
- Acting as a client advocate with a strong focus on delivering an excellent client experience
- Supporting continuous improvement of internal processes where opportunities arise
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an account management role within a creative, digital or advertising agency
- Proven experience managing brand, design and digital projects end to end
- Experience working in or with media agencies on digital marketing and campaign management
- Strong project management, planning and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive and solutions-focused
- Collaborative, personable and able to build trust with clients and internal teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Arts or a related field
- Australian citizen, permanent resident or valid visa holder
