Essenza Escapes is a luxury travel company specialising in exceptional villa rentals and bespoke travel experiences across Italy. We curate unforgettable stays for discerning travellers, combining beautiful properties with personalised service that captures the true essence of Italian living. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our small, dedicated team and help bring our brand to life across digital channels.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator who will take ownership of our digital presence and content output. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives working independently, takes initiative, and has a genuine passion for luxury travel, storytelling, and the Italian way of life.
This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours, ideally suited to someone based in the UK or Italy. Occasional travel to Italy may be required once or twice a year for team training, property visits, or content creation, and candidates based in the UK will be requested to visit our London office every once in a while.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESWebsite Content & Management
• Create and update villa listing pages, experience pages, and destination content on our website
• Write, edit, and publish blog articles that align with the Essenza Escapes brand voice
• Upload and manage content within our CMS, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and visual polish
• Collaborate on website improvements and ensure all content is optimised for SEO
Email Marketing
• Design, write, and manage regular e-newsletters using Mailchimp
• Develop email campaigns that engage our audience with compelling storytelling, curated travel inspiration, and seasonal promotions
• Monitor performance metrics and refine campaigns for continuous improvement
Social Media
• Create, schedule, and manage content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
• Develop a consistent social media content calendar aligned with brand campaigns and seasonal themes
• Engage with our online community and grow our social following organically
• Use scheduling and analytics tools such as Later.com to plan and track performance
Visual Content & Brand Assets
• Edit and optimise photography for web, email, and social media use
• Create branded graphics, banners, and visual assets using tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop
• Maintain visual consistency across all channels in line with brand guidelines
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOREssential
• Excellent copywriting skills with impeccable, polished English
• Proven experience in a digital marketing or content role
• Strong working knowledge of CMS platforms for content management and publishing
• Proficiency with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms
• Confident using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) for business
• Photo editing skills using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools
• Experience with basic video editing for social media or YouTube content
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools such as Later.com
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design and brand consistency
• A genuine interest in luxury travel, lifestyle, and Italian culture
• Candidates based in Italy should have (or be willing to open) a VAT number
Desirable
• Knowledge of Italian (written and/or spoken) is a significant plus
• Experience with Craft CMS
• Background in the travel or hospitality industry
• In-depth knowledge of Italy — its regions, culture, and way of life
• Understanding of SEO best practices and content strategy
