Senior Visual Designer -  Klimt & Design

Klimt & Design is a branding and product design agency specializing in building brands for technology companies from pre-seed and Series A to larger, more mature enterprises. Our clients range from high-growth startups to established global enterprises across sectors such as AI, enterprise SaaS, fintech and healthcare, and our work spans brand creation, rebranding, landing pages, marketing design, and product design.

We are seeking a full-time, fully remote, senior-level visual brand designer to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking a full-time, senior-level visual brand designer to join our team. This is a client-facing delivery lead position where you will own multiple accounts end-to-end. You will execute the heavy-lifting strategic brand explorations while managing, mentoring, and delegating production tasks to our highly capable mid-level design team.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of client visual brand design projects, acting as the senior creative that clients experience as the lead.
  • Lead the exploratory zone of brand systems and refreshes, executing competitive research, mood boards, positioning, and defining look, feel, and tone.
  • Present explorations and application mockups to clients on review calls, guiding the team through incorporating feedback successfully.
  • Delegate the extension of the design system (e.g., sizing ads, building out website pages, creating presentation decks) to mid-level designers.
  • Lead daily team standups and act as the first point of contact for mid-level designers needing direction or unblocking.
  • Own final quality assurance, catching issues at your level and ensuring strict process discipline for file hygiene and versioning.
  • Anticipate and flag project risks (timeline, scope, missing inputs) and come to the table with proposed solutions.
  • Oversee and occasionally execute sales enablement collateral (such as pitch decks and slide templates), defining the visual strategy before delegating the broader build-out to the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working autonomously in a senior design role, comfortable defining a brand system from very little initial direction.
  • A standout portfolio demonstrating core competency in visual identity, brand design, and excellent creative thinking.
  • High comfort level running client review calls and articulating and defending design decisions.
  • Strong ability to context-switch across multiple accounts – ranging from earlier-stage tech companies to mature clients – at different stages of delivery.
  • Proficiency in Figma and all industry-standard design tools.
  • A strong commitment to mentorship; making the people around you better must be viewed as a core part of the job, not a bonus.
  • Excellent fluency in English (verbal, comprehension, and communication).
  • A mindset of "initiative over permission," where you proactively ask questions to fill gaps and recommend solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do.
