Freelance WordPress Web Designer

We are seeking a talented Freelance WordPress Web Designer to support ongoing website design and development projects. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented designer who can translate brand direction into high-performing, visually compelling websites.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build custom WordPress websites (primarily marketing-focused sites)

• Develop responsive, mobile-first layouts

• Customize themes and implement page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.)

• Collaborate with internal marketing and SEO teams to ensure best practices

• Optimize site speed, UX, and on-page structure

• Implement basic SEO best practices and schema where applicable

• Manage revisions and communicate clearly on timelines

• Perform website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of WordPress design experience

• Strong portfolio showcasing live WordPress sites

• Experience with page builders (Elementor preferred)

• Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion-focused design

• Preferred but not required - Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS (PHP a plus)

• Knowledge of site speed optimization best practices

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Experience:

• Experience designing websites in healthcare or behavioral health

• Basic understanding of SEO strategy and CRO

• Experience integrating CRMs, call tracking, or form tracking tools

*Compensation for this position is project-based and ranges from $800–$1,500 per project, depending on scope and complexity. Please note, this is not an hourly role - payment is structured per completed project deliverable.*
