Product Designer, Digital Learning Platform

Company Description

MoneyByrd, a Public Benefit Corporation, delivers modern, end-to-end administration of cash infusion and other benefit programs.

The programs we support often have an education requirement for the participants. We’re building a digital learning platform and need a Product Designer with expertise in online learning experiences. You’ll help shape the user journey, create a consistent design system, and turn curriculum content into engaging, interactive lessons. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to ensure seamless design implementation and an intuitive learning experience.

Deliverables

• Contribute to the design and development of the education platform’s visual design and style guide 
• Design user flows, lesson layouts, and interactive learning components
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure design accuracy and responsiveness
• Translate curriculum content into engaging, learner-friendly experiences
• Provide ready-to-build design assets and specifications
• Conduct user testing and design refinements
• Build and publish lessons directly into the platform using the native lesson-building tool

Required Skills

• Product Design / UX Design / Front-End Development for digital or e-learning platforms
• Visual Design & Branding (creating style guides and design systems)
• Graphic Design (and layout composition for web and mobile interfaces)
• Instructional Interface/User Centered Design (understanding how learners interact with content)
• Cross-function Collaboration (design handoff and feedback loop)
• Accessibility & Usability Standards (WCAG 2.1 compliance)
• Content Structuring for Learning
• Experience with LMS Platforms (eg. Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, or native platform)
• Mobile and Desktop Design (Portfolio should demonstrate this)Nice-to-have skills
