We’re looking for an experienced Creative Director to help lead and elevate the creative vision of a fast-growing beauty and fragrance brand.
This is a fractional / contract role for a senior-level creative who can take ownership of creative direction, campaign ideation, and brand storytelling.
About the Role
This role is highly strategic and concept-driven. You’ll be responsible for shaping how our brand shows up visually and emotionally across launches, campaigns, and ongoing content. Fragrance is at the core of what we do, so the ability to translate scent, mood, and emotion into compelling visual and narrative concepts is critical.
You will not be expected to post content, manage calendars, or design assets yourself—but you will define the creative vision and guide those who execute it.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForCreative Direction & Brand Vision
- Own and evolve the overall creative direction of the brand across digital, social, and campaign content
- Ensure visual and storytelling consistency across all touchpoints
- Maintain a premium, cohesive brand aesthetic while allowing room for evolution and experimentation
Campaign & Launch Creative Strategy
Concept and plan creative campaigns for:
- New product and scent launches
- Seasonal moments and holidays (planned months in advance)
- Evergreen brand storytelling initiatives
- Develop creative narratives, themes, and visual concepts for each campaign
- Translate ideas into clear creative plans that can be executed by the team
Content Ideation & Planning
- Define what type of content we should be producing (short-form video concepts, hero campaigns, storytelling formats, etc.)
Concept ideas such as:
- Teaser content and sneak peeks
- Campaign-style videos, skits, and ads
- Elevated product storytelling that conveys emotion and luxury
- Create campaign outlines, mood boards, shot lists, and creative briefs
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in creative direction, preferably within beauty or fragrance
- Strong background in campaign-based creative, not just social posting
- Experience working with photographers, videographers, and social teams
- Ability to translate abstract concepts (scent, mood, emotion) into visual and narrative ideas
- Strategic thinker who can plan ahead and build creative systems—not just one-off ideas
- Comfortable working fractionally and owning creative direction with autonomy
Role Details
- Fractional / contract position (approximately 20–25 hours per week)
- Compensation: $7,000-$12,000/month, depending on experience and scope
- Opportunity to grow into a longer-term or expanded role
