UX Researcher

Role Description

A UX Researcher is responsible for understanding user behaviors, needs, and motivations through research and analysis. This role helps product, design, and development teams create user-centered products by providing insights that improve usability, functionality, and overall user experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting user research such as interviews, surveys, usability tests, and field studies
• Analyzing user behavior, feedback, and data to identify patterns and insights
• Creating research reports, user personas, journey maps, and usability recommendations
• Collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to improve product design
• Testing prototypes and existing products to evaluate user experience and usability
• Presenting research findings and actionable insights to stakeholders
• Monitoring user trends and behavior to guide product development decisions
• Ensuring products meet user needs and align with business goals
• Supporting data-driven product design and innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, Sociology, or a related field
• Experience in user research, usability testing, or UX analysis
• Strong knowledge of research methods such as qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Familiarity with UX tools such as Figma, UserTesting, Hotjar, Maze, or Optimal Workshop
• Excellent analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to translate research findings into practical design improvements
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering
