Freelance Packaging Designer

A new protein and creatine bar brand is seeking a talented graphic designer to create minimalist, premium packaging that embodies the spirit of discipline, strength, and movement. Drawing inspiration from the ocean and Nordic design principles, the project centers on clean, modern visuals with symbolic elements such as a blue route line and a red dot to signify the journey and destination. The packaging must communicate the product’s natural ingredients and high-performance benefits, while capturing a sense of adventure and purpose. A comprehensive design brief is available in both English and Danish, outlining the brand story, symbolism, and visual direction. Deliverables

• Develop original packaging concepts that reflect the brand’s minimalist and Nordic-inspired aesthetic
• Incorporate key symbolic elements (blue route line, red dot) into the design
• Prepare print-ready files for packaging production
• Collaborate closely to ensure the design aligns with the provided brief and brand vision
• Revise designs based on feedback to achieve the desired outcome
• Deliver final assets in required formats and specifications

Requirements

• Proven experience in packaging design, preferably for food or wellness products
• Strong portfolio demonstrating minimalist and modern design sensibilities
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Ability to interpret and translate brand stories and symbolism into compelling visuals
• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of print production processes
• Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working with briefs in English (Danish language skills a plus, but not required)
• Availability for prompt communication and timely delivery of project milestones
