About Us

Yvonne Ellen is a fast-growing, design-led homeware brand based in the UK, known for our playful yet premium products stocked by top-tier retailers like John Lewis, Macy’s, and Next. As we enter an exciting new phase of digital growth, we’re looking for a retained Shopify development partner to join our journey.

The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic Shopify Tech Partner to support our upcoming migration from Shopify 1.0 to 2.0, and eventually to Shopify Plus. This part-time role will be embedded into our team, working closely with the founder and internal stakeholders to execute a robust tech roadmap focused on scalability, performance, and customer experience.

Scope of Work

• Shopify 2.0 + Plus migration: Rebuilding the theme, enhancing mobile UX, ensuring scalability
• Optimisation: Checkout flow, product bundling, and gift-buying experience
• Third-Party Integrations: Klaviyo, Global-e, Amazon, Faire
• Roadmap Execution: Automation, loyalty, subscriptions, CRO testing, AI tools
• Performance & Reporting: Monthly & quarterly reporting on CVR, page speed, uptime
• Ongoing Support: Responsive bug fixes and urgent issue handling (within 48 hours)

Engagement Details

• Commitment: Project-based with ad hoc support as needed
• Location: Preference for South Africa-based teams or those in similar time zones
• Contract Type: Fixed monthly retainer
• Start Date: August 2025
