Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Landscape Designer. The Landscape Designer will be responsible for creating unique and sustainable landscape designs, developing detailed planting plans, and coordinating hardscape features such as retaining walls and patios. The role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, preparing design proposals, and overseeing project implementation from concept to completion. Daily tasks include site analysis, creating design renderings, and selecting appropriate plants and materials.

Employment Terms and Classification

• Classification: Full-Time, Exempt (Professional, Creative Role, Not Overtime-Eligible).
• Employment Type: Remote, Long-Term, Direct Employment under BB Mofic, LLC.

• Intellectual Property: All creative work, deliverables, and designs produced under this role shall remain the sole intellectual property of BB Mofic, LLC.

Responsibilities

Each responsibility shall be executed with full professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality.

1. Design Concept Development

• Conceive, draft, and refine innovative landscape design solutions tailored to high-end client expectations.
• Produce original creative content aligned with project briefs, integrating ecological considerations, aesthetic principles, and functional requirements.
• Generate mood boards, conceptual sketches, detailed visualizations, and 3D renderings.

2. Technical Drawing and Documentation

• Produce CAD drawings, masterplans, technical layouts, plant selection schedules, and construction-ready documentation.
• Maintain precise and professional drafting standards in alignment with industry protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international zoning and landscape standards.

3. Project Collaboration and Coordination

• Coordinate effectively with internal project managers, external contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Participate in virtual meetings and presentations, providing articulate design rationales.
• Facilitate communication across project stakeholders to ensure timelines and objectives are respected.

4. Sustainability and Innovation Integration

• Incorporate ecological sustainability, environmental resilience, and climate-responsive strategies into every project.
• Research and apply the latest technologies, materials, and sustainable planting strategies.

5. Client Engagement

• Prepare refined presentations, renderings, and documentation for direct client communication.
• Provide professional responses to client feedback and adjust designs as required with precision and courtesy.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism in all client interactions.

6. Remote Work Excellence

• Utilize advanced collaboration tools, cloud-based platforms, and real-time communication technologies.

Qualifications

• Skills in Landscape Design and Landscaping
• Proficiency in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design software
• Experience with Hardscape and Planting Plans
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or a related field
• Experience in designing and implementing landscape projects

Schedule

• Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Hours (Monday to Friday)
• Flexibility: Required for client consultations, project reviews, and deadlines across varying time zones.
• Core Collaboration Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Central Time

Compensation

• Salary Range: $73,000 – $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and portfolio quality.
