We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our team and help craft intuitive, engaging, and visually stunning digital experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and key management to create user-centered designs that enhance usability and overall customer satisfaction. If you have an entrepreneurial streak and are looking for some part-time work that may enable you to hit it big without taking a financial risk as co-owner of a cutting edge AI company in health and education, this could be the opportunity for you! We have one product in the market, an anti-aging software product that makes science-based, personalized recommendations on what people can do to live longer and healthier lives (www.myyouthspan.com). We are working on a dozen other products with our own team and more than a dozen universities, including AI-based tutoring software that has a published paper showing it teaches better than human teachers do.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and gather insights to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Design visually appealing and functional UI components that align with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Optimize designs for accessibility, responsiveness, and performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging UX/UI technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, user research methods, and interaction design.
- Knowledge of responsive design and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of front-end development principles.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and data-driven design decisions.
