Project Manager, DesignRemote | Full-Time

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Take the idea. Drive it forward. Make sure it gets done.

At POLYWOOD, great design does not move forward on its own. It takes someone who can stay on top of every detail, keep every project moving, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

We are looking for a Project Manager who thrives in that role. Someone who can track it all, push it forward, and bring clarity to fast-moving design and product work.

------------------------------------------

About Us

POLYWOOD creates sustainable outdoor furniture and products designed to last for generations.

What makes this role different is the pace and the complexity.

We are developing new products, expanding into new categories, and constantly moving ideas from concept to production. That means a lot of moving pieces, and a real need for someone who can keep everything aligned and progressing.

This is an opportunity to step into the center of that momentum and help drive it forward.

------------------------------------------

The Work You’ll Love Doing

This is a role for someone who naturally takes ownership of moving work forward.

You will live inside our project management system, tracking progress, tagging the right people, and making sure every project keeps moving. If something is missing, a spec, a color, a description, you catch it early and drive it to resolution.

You will partner across Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Production, reaching out when needed, asking the right questions, and keeping everyone aligned.

You are not waiting for updates. You are going and getting them.

You will also support product research efforts, digging into competitive products, sourcing specifications, and helping the team make informed decisions.

------------------------------------------

What Makes This Role Special

  • You sit at the center of design, product, and production
  • You have visibility into everything that is moving
  • You help turn ideas into real, finished products
  • You work across teams, not within a silo
  • You bring structure and clarity to creative work
  • You are joining POLYWOOD at a moment of real momentum, rapid growth, expanding categories, and a clear investment in innovation

------------------------------------------

Where You Will Make an Impact

  • Managing and driving multiple design projects simultaneously
  • Owning JIRA workflows, tracking progress, and keeping projects moving
  • Identifying gaps such as missing specs, materials, or product details
  • Partnering across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Production to gather information
  • “Bird-dogging” projects to ensure deadlines are met and nothing stalls
  • Supporting product research, including competitive analysis and spec gathering
  • Helping build and maintain a material library for the Design team
  • Creating clarity and accountability across cross-functional teams

------------------------------------------

What You Bring

  • You bring experience in project management within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, ideally within manufacturing or product development.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and relentless about follow-through. You are comfortable reaching out to anyone in the organization to get what you need, and you do not hesitate to push projects forward.
  • You have experience working in JIRA or similar project management systems and understand how to use it to drive accountability and visibility.
  • You are someone who notices what is missing, asks questions, and makes sure the work gets completed the right way.

------------------------------------------

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with furniture or product-specific terminology
  • Experience supporting product development or design teams
  • Strong product research skills, including sourcing specs and competitive insights
  • Experience building or managing a materials library
  • CAD experience or exposure (SolidWorks or similar)

If you bring even a few of these, you will step into this role with the ability to make an immediate impact.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you are someone who thrives on keeping projects moving, solving problems, and making sure great ideas actually get finished, we would love to connect.
